Cookie Policy

These can't be disabled because the service won't work without them.

• Supabase auth cookies (sb-*) — keep you signed in across page loads. Set by our auth provider; expire when your session ends or when you sign out.
• Stripe checkout cookies (set on Stripe-hosted pages only) — required to complete a subscription purchase. We never see them.

These remember your preferences. Disabling them means you'll re-set those preferences on every visit.

• Theme preference (localStorage — theme) — stores whether you chose light or dark mode.
• Analytics opt-out flag (localStorage) — if you opted out of analytics, this remembers that decision per device.

We use PostHog to understand which features get used and where users get stuck. By default it's on for users in regions without strict opt-in laws, and automatically off for browsers that send Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control headers.

• What's captured: page views, button clicks, feature usage, error counts. Anonymous beyond your account ID.
• What's not: keystrokes, the contents of your interview answers, CV/job-description text, or any practice data.
• Opt out anytime: Settings → Privacy — the toggle is per device.

Sentry captures error traces and request IDs when something crashes. It uses a first-party cookie to correlate events within a session. No personal content is captured; we use it solely to debug bugs.

• No third-party advertising cookies.
• No social-media tracking pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• No cross-site tracking.
• No cookies that fingerprint your device beyond what's essential.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. For analytics specifically, the in-app opt-out at Settings → Privacy is the simplest path — we respect it across sessions on the same device. Browsers that send Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control are honored automatically.

When we add or remove a cookie we'll update this page and bump the “Last updated” date.
